HTC G1 Phone Unlocked
One of the recent entrants in the smartphone market. The HTC Dream G1 World Phone was introduced in October 2008 and immediately made an impact. First, the Android OS that runs it is made by Google, one of, or, the biggest players in Internet, information, and technology. Thus, when you buy an Android-based mobile phone, Google’s large pool of resources will be likely at your disposal, like Internet browsing, email, and YouTube!
For example, if you’re using up too much space on emails. You can use Google’s Gmail for backup services. How awesome is that.
Now, of Internet features are already available in other smartphones, but since these are Google products, they’ll be native to the Android and that makes a difference in speed, reliability, and other aspect of web technology.
The HTC Dream G1 World Phone, although already being replaced by the next generation G2 aka HTC Hero, is still a fantastic mobile phone. Since it was so advanced when first introduced, other phones are still catching up to it. For one thing it runs on 3G network, currently the fastest mobile connection. Many new phones being released are not even available for 3G. While, the HTC G1 Dream Mobile Phone is already configured for it.
The design is versatile. Without sacrificing style, the HTC Dream G1 World Phone supports both key buttons AND touchscreen. So use whichever floats your boat.
Do you like apps? The iPhone has the App Store. The HTC Dream Phone and other Android-based phones have the Android Market for free and paid apps. The Android Market includes games and helpful utilities such as power management, cardio vascular monitor, handheld scanner (using the phone’s camera), etc.
